My first hand in the table. Opponent is unknown. I think flop is fine, when he raises i actually put him on bluff, really rarely A10+ and almost never 3. Can I fold after calling flop?

Pretending that I did not see the result of the hand……

I think you're grossly overplaying your hand without a clear read. I dont think people play this way against the big stack (you) that often without a real hand. Yeah maybe you can call the flop and see what he does on the turn but I like playing potcontrol in tough marginal situations like these. I would even check the flop some times to let him bluff, the board is really dry.

As played I think his turn bet is close to comiiting him so I would really just fold here.. I rather be an aggressive big stack table captain than a passive bluffcatching one..

Makes sense?

I like idea of potcontrol on flop, but how I played I pretty much still can't find a right answer in this situation. Also I think it's pretty tough spot and makes sense to let it go, and be in huge chip advantage. But something goes wrong when he bets almost pot on turn, I mean it's looks so suspicious, why would he bet so much????

When people get confused they call. This clearly happened to you on the turn.

I think you need to seriously time bank here and range a random. If you can honestly tell yourself you feel you're ahead… jam.

I might play too nitty but in these spots I choose chip preservation. I am willing to let someone bluff me here and get away with one. 90 bb's is huge at 500/1000 and I can easily find many spots in which to be the aggressor and take advantage of situations.

Gonna have to agree with every1 on this. Try to pot control this pot. His raise on the flop is suspicious and you do right by checking the turn but I think this guy is trying to make his hand look like a bluff on the turn with the 4/5 pot bet in order to get you to call with your A. FK is right tho, if you think you are ahead Jam b/c this guy is committing himself

Anyone think this villain's call with Q3cc is just moronic???? Imo – yes but that is neither here or there….this shit does happen
