Ok guys

Live tourney today 1.1k buy-in

I've just been moved tables 10 or so hands ago and have approx 27k @ 150/300/50

I immediately scan the table for non verbal information and find that there are 3 young guys all whom seem friends and all who seem to have a decent grasp of the game. Talking about lines, discussing hands and 1 of them has a 14bb stack that he is obv playing appropriately by jamming etc etc.. they seem like online players

I am in the BB and the guy who has me covered (33k'ish) is 1 of these 3 friends i will call Young Asian and he opens to 800

Folds to me in the BB with KdiamondJspade – i call

Flop (2,200) 6clubJheartTheart

I check call 1k Cbet

Turn (4,200) Qspade

I check again and he fires 2.1k – I call

River (8,400) 4diamond

I check – he does NOT slow down and barrells 6.25k..

Firstly – does anyone disagree with my line? would anyone play it differently?

I feel like my hand is pretty obvious and weak and i'm sure he's slowing down at some point with medium strength.

Also when i check call F and T and the heart doesnt come on the river it makes it easier for him to continue with his bluffing hands b/c it looks like i missed my draw???

So do i HAVE to call??

Also, i tanked and could not get any physical tells of this guy, i even counted out the chips and pump fakedsmile

Any advice appreciated guys

The 3rd barrel and sizing looks strong. I fold as played.

I like your line but would do 1/3 pot blocker bet on river and fold to a raise.

hmm, what definetly would go in my decision, in which pos did he open?

in a smaller buyin tourney i would often make the call here (especially if the guy opened in later pos), cause much too often kids make moves here when they are deep. and if i'm wrong im still alive

sure the 3rd barrel looks strong but somehow it also stinks, its also a perfect spot for him to bluff cause your line looks like you mentioned very weak

but tbh in a 1k, i dont know. maybe i'd just let it go and conserve my chips for better spots.

guy opened from UTG+1 bada

I ended up tank calling and he has 98s for the straight

he says to me 'ahhh you have to call there with your 2pair or a set mate'

In my head i think 'nice read lol' and tell him i had neither
