Does anyone play on Cake? Someone advised it's a good site to build a roll playing the smaller size and less variance mtts. Just opened an acct. There's almost no traffic in mt sitngos and there's not alot of reg mtts to choose from. Also, I was surprised to see that huds are not allowed.

On the plus side, almost all the gtd tourney's have plenty of sats, and the structures for almost all the mtts (and satellites) are really good.

I played 4 satellites, won 2 and bubbled the other two. Def softer competition than Stars and FT. I gotta learn more about their coin system which u can accumulate for mtts.

Any tips or info about the site would be appreciated. Thanks

The fields are smaller…and soft which is definitely a good thing.  There are three cons to it for me that make me not play it.

1.  No HUDs….I'm just a hud fan.

2.  It's a pain in the ass to withdraw money if you do transfers….they have some sort of policy about how much you have to play with transfered money if you want to cash it out.  I think it's to prevent laundering.

3.  The software is godawful.  I just can't play on it because of this.  I hate the software that much.

Their latest beta software is a little better than their old software.  They've actually got some cool features built into it that I wish Stars would use, such as a tournament calendar that you can customize.

Having a bunch of skins linked from sports betting sites means they bring in a lot of bad players.

Not being able to use a HUD sucks though.  I have a hard time mixing Cake into a high-volume session because of this.

i love the softness of cake, but really only play cash there.

i used to play a couple mtts a week, but up until a few weeks ago you couldn't the the tables very small at all, so i stopped. however, there is a new version (cake 2.0) that allows more flexible sizing, and they also have lee jones working with them to improve their mtt sched, although i still think the structure blows.

unless something big happens over there i'll probably keep just grinding the occasional cash session.

Pretty sure they created a rule about no one competent being allowed to play there.

I've had a working account for 3 years and counting 🙁

Damn you, Cake.

I once got banned (account frozen) on a skin of Cake because I signed up through an affiliate who was caught doing something against their terms and conditions and I didn't even know the person.

Once I bitched they let me play agian….so I proceded to withdraw my funds with my finger in the air.

Does anyone know if the Victory platform is better now?
