Villain had raised his button a lot and from the sb when it folded around to him. This tima I decided to defend any two in position and play my position. I flop TP with a weak FD and he checks. I bet for value and protection and villain comes in w a c/r. I believed he expected me to bet there so he most likely was (semi)bluffing and if he had an overpair I still had outs unless he held a club I was still pretty live.

How would you proceed with the hand?

I would probably 3 bet him preflop rather than flat 68o. As played I would just let it go. That check/raise is huge sizing and says 2 pairs/ set/straight/ overpair or nut flush draw with overs or a pair with it. Even if you flat and get there on the turn with the flush it is still going to be difficult to determine if you are good or not and you do not want to put yourself in tough guessing game spots. Find a more optimal spot and bust this guy.

I feel Danny is spot on as well.  I'd rather be 3b here pre then flatting oop with such a weak hand.

Was trying a BigDog play here as he flatted a sb raise with 64o in the bb and played his position in one of his vids :p

I didnt believe villain had a really strong hand here so I shipped it and he called w KcQs for the 2nd nut fd and overcards w %48 equity and rivered a flush after I turned two pair.

I mightve followed the same line w 89hh as I really was confident villain didnt have a made hand.

I understand overall and in the long run it would be better to bet-fold here but shouldnt we just go with our reads if were pretty confident we have the best hand and villain should prolly be folding?

Perfect stack sizes for a 3b. 41 bb is super awkward because a lot of player really never stick in a 4 bet on this stack size without a real hand since the stack is too big for a 4b jam and it's too much to risk light 4b'ing and folding to a jam.
