+1000000

Lets first discuss why you would ever open 24o UTG +2  this is a huge leak imo

yeah the PF open with 24o is simply unjustifiable and i'm not even sure durrrrr could show a profit opening this hand from this spot in a 2$ mtt.

i could see getting fancy postflop if you were HU and not 5-way in a 2$ mtt. you have two pair, bet.

the river is a gross spot. but i want to really stress the fact that it's a tough spot because of the choices you've made on earlier streets. clearly we wouldn't even be in this spot if you folded PF. also, had you bet the flop, we'd have a much better idea as to their ranges than we do now.

i think i call but the more i think about it i'm really not sure. i just feel like both of them will have just one pair often enough considering how the hand has played out.

also, not trying to be hard on you, but do understand that pre-flop is out first line of defense against making mistakes. you are not going to beat these games by being some sicko who raises 24o from EP. you are going to beat these games by playing solid and not making mistakes. just play a solid fundamental game and profit.

clearly understood. just been really tryn to open game up a ton. playing conservative/tight just hadnt been showing many results. i sit around and wait to get the hand. thing is no1 has notice that this is my first pre flop raise and get sevral callers and get suckout on when i flop top pr type hands. since i've been playing a ton of more hands i see bigger stacks and further tourny runs. but clearly understand the logic of it all.
