Yes that's fine.  It's nearly 200 buyins which is more than enough for any one tourney.  My rule is generally 250 ABI but some people will go as low as 100 ABI.

That's average buyin.  with 2k you can certainly take a shot at a 26 or even a 50 occasionally so an 11 is perfectly fine.

Now go WIN.

250 buyins is what I use generally, been working so far.  Unfavorable variance is a bitch so make sure your bankroll is ready for it…imo.

Nah, 50 dollar tournaments – even occasionaly – is not preferable. I'd stick with the 11 dollar, till you have ~5k and then try some 22 dollars. Just grind your way up and you'll be fine.

Don't underestimate tournament variance 🙂

Yeah I think $50 mtt's are a bit of a stretch on a $2,000 BR if you can't replenish it with outside funds.

$10/11 freezeouts, $3 rebuys … if I was strapped for cash and this $2,000 couldn't be increased through anything but poker winnings I'd probably grind SnG's and 90 Man KO's etc.
