Progressive Kos hold a huge potential IMO of furthering the lifespan of tournament poker. The ranges are all skewed and ICM is kaleidoscoped.
I actually think there is a hole in poker literature around bounty tournaments. Somebody should step in, run the math, and fill that void. But before they can do that, there even exists the opportunity for someone like Helmuth Melcher to create a new calculator to attempt to solve it.
Possibly the math is so skewed it might even be impossible to solve for.

Oh and btw a big welcome to Collin Moshman! Such a huge name…I have been away from TPE for a couple months and literally couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw he’d joined TPE.
For a SNG’er like me it is as though I am the mortal sinner and Jesus has descended through the clouds to help me…
