56 left of 200+, 36 pay. Blinds about to go up, so in a hand or 2 I'll be at 10BB.Villian is pretty straight forward, but I don't have a ton of hands on him. The Ace is ahead of two randoms, but with his stack size, is he always calling a shove so light it's too risky?

14 BB's i think its a pretty standard shove you have enough chips to cripple him so he shouldnt be calling too light, if he does you're not in terrible shape since you have the A your mostly a 2/1 dog. you have to gamble late in tourneys, folding spots like this and limping into the cash with a short stack is not the way to make a solid profit in the long run. Multiple min cashes dont add up to as much as one really deep run.

super close, putting it in here isnt awful. i find players at this buyin level will still open fold to 14bb as 3 bet shoveing is more profitable then open stealing

i definitely shove here.  Your stack has FE vs him and he's not gonna call super light.  Sure he calls with a lot of As and pairs but that's still a small % of hands he can have.

ship it and hope you pick up AK on the button and can ship it again.  With 14bb that is about to go down to 10bb you have to push these opportunities so when you pick up a big hand someone will call off light b/c they believe you have been shoving too many hands.

I would stick it in just about everytime.  Even if he is loose and calling; I think your hand is ahead more often than not.  I like getting more chips and trying to make a deeper run, than just cashing.  Time to double.

Agreed with everyone else I'd go ahead and shove here you have plenty of FE and he shouldn't be calling super light.
