I think limp/shove is likely to be significantly +cEV, but the two shorter stacks makes me think it could be bad in ICM terms. I think I prefer limp/call since we’re still fairly deep and he only made it 3x. I imagine limp/3-bet/fold a hand as strong as this is probably pretty weak.

I see arguments for both raising and calling post flop. But since you mention the villain to be a high quality player, I lean towards check-calling in an effort to slow the betting down on the turn when a blank comes. Your equity improves a lot with most of the scare cards like A, 9 or even T for that matter, where you can rep something like Q9 or K9 that you defended pre.

I can’t see V’s stack, but assuming it’s comparable to yours, I think limp-call is fine/good. It’s quite possible that vs a very good player in the BB you shouldn’t have an open raising range at all from the SB. I’d check-call flop, and I don’t see a case for raising. I doubt that a good player is bet-folding better hands than yours. I’ll be check-folding a lot of turns.
