Made this laydown in the $5 rebuy 5k gtd on UB.

I was happy when he showed his hand but was my fold standard or did I make a big laydown that most players would not be able to do? I dont want to be to proud of a play that may just be standard and I am to dumb to know it…

How do you think I played the hand?

Any reads/stats on villian??   Well obv it was a good fold cause he showed his hand :).. You guys are so deep that I would fold here alot aswell even if he did had loose stats. He showed heaps of aggrs through out the hand.

Good fold and if you can make ones like these simliar “Early” in torts you will always run deep 🙂

He was a  player with a very small profit over 1200 tourneys, my sharkscope HUD showed him as poor player (ability was only 62) that only played very small stakes tourneys (this almost made me call him).

I know that he showed his hand but I still want to be sure I made the right play regardless of the hand he holds. I was glad he showed but I still wasnt sure if I make this fold in this spot everytime if its a winning play or not…

I fold pre as well.  All a/q does is get you in trouble imo.  What range do you think he is 3 betting with here so large, and what do you do when you hit the ace on the flop.  You will be always unsure of where you are and up against a/k.  I would also recomend opening smaller pre and c betting a little smaller more like slightly over 1/2 pot when played, this way you are controlling the size of the pot both pre and post.  Best of luck at the tables.

^^

and easy fold on flop, his range for raising you here is QQ+, AK only. never AJ-, KQ, JJ-.

but doesnt matter as villain 3bets oop from bb = superstrong QQ+, AK leaving u w just 25% equity. maybe JJ also (29%)

I fold pre. If it were soooooted, I would be much more likely to call. But, his 3 bet screams that he is way ahead or has JJ or TT. Granted you have position and you're very deep, it's still a light call pre.

Good fold on the flop though.

Well played. I’m not folding Pre and if this were me it would be a tough spot for sure. I would def need to refer to his HUD numbers on the reraises. If he’s a super nit fold if he’s loose I’m calling the reraise on the flop or 4 betting
