Hey all,

First post here 🙂

Forgive me if this seems trivial, the bubble is about to burst ( 4 people to go) in the Big $11 on Pokerstars. I have 19 bigs left and I am unsure what the correct play is. I have been reading up on ICM recently, before I would have not thought twice about shoving over his raise or maybe open shoving. Now, I am not so sure.

Any thoughts are much appreciated.

Cheers!!

If this was a satellite with the bubble about to burst it maybe a fold

But in a standard MTT you have to shove this

You don’t want to be playing to min cash

I personally play a bit looser around the cash bubble even with a smaller stack to take advantage of people tightening up

I agree with RiskyBull here, “If this was a satellite with the bubble about to burst it maybe a fold” and I will add “with short stacks about to be comitted soon”, lets say you are on a 4 handed table, you raise AA 20bb deep, some 20bb shove, there is two guys with 4bb, and pays 3, then you should fold AA pre.

On the mtt hero can´t ever fold AA pre flop I think, maybe on extreme situation, like FT you have 200bb, someone have 200bb and everyone else 10bb or less, and 200bb shoves on you… very unlikely to happen tow…

As played 4bet shove.

If you are worried about not cashing, you can use your time bank there, gives time to people get knocked out, and your hand looks weaker, like you are unsure on what to do with it.
