It’s early stages and middle has 6.9k already. He may be calling light to see flops so his range would be very wide. He might have a flush draw but looks like he’s trying to scare you off. So I would put him on 2 overs suited. That would make you having the best hand but its your tourney life. I would shove and make notes on this guy.

Little late for a reply, I’m sure your time bank isn’t 4 hours, LOL
What did you do? what did he have?
now watch he shows like QTo

This is just my opinion so it might be way off, but this is how I see it.

I would tend to limp call and set mine as it’s very early for tough decisions to make it worth while.

I'm probably just ck/f against an unknown early. Yeah he could be floating w KQ or AJ with a heart or whatever, but like you said wtf are we going to do on a blank river if he bets, 7h is probably almost never good unless he like slowplayed trips on the flop etc. etc… Also this is a $10 mtt so I don't think we need to be overly concerned about ppl owning us in small pots early; fold and save the chips for a spot where some tard calls 3 streets with second pair or whatever.

Yea good point their for sure. So I guess your only option is to fold these types of hands in early position.

i am def opening all pairs pre ante from all positions.

and i am def checking the flop. I want to use relative position to see whats happening. If MP bets and BB folds then i call one and proceed with caution.

if you bet flop then bet it smaller. 1/3 is more then enough.

and with the extra equity picked up i might bet again on the turn. on the smalish site again. not thinking to fold out much like 88,99,JJ,Tx

if he raises i am done. if he calls i am done unless a 7 or the straight hits

It may be a leak because im a loose fish but I never fold pairs in any position when im 1st in the pot.

You only have to min raise/ 2.5x raise to make it worth while when you flop a set.

I don’t like limping pairs because theres no money in the pot when you do hit to build a big pot. And when you do miss you can check fold no harm done or keep the pot small by check calling when oop
