So I recently had a nice run on Steps on Full Tilt.
I originally had thought I would start playing tickets all the way up to the 12k package, but I got a Step 6 ticket ($640) and realized that might not be the best thing to do, since the odds of my 1 Step 6 making up two more ranks seems to be pretty low.
After watching Cougar's videos I got another idea to do a block of 20 Step 1s and try and get as many Step 5s as I could with it. (Ended up with 2 Step 5s)
So now I am sitting on 1 Step 6 ($640) and 2 Step 5s ($216).
I can only use them for tournament buy-ins. What is my best choice on FT?
I would love play a live event, but I don't know what is the smartest thing to do in this situation.
Thinks I have thought about:
1. Play some or all of the up the Steps to see if I can get the 12k winner's choice. (Perhaps play some more 20 Step 1 block to get a better chance first)
2. Use the Step 6 for the WPT Shooting stars sat on Sunday.
3. Wait on the Step 6 for WSOP sats figuring they will be softer since there will be more lower sat entries into them.
4. Use Step 5s for Sunday 750k.
5. Use Step 5 for the Deepstack qualifier in Reno.
6. Use Step 6 for Monthly 1 Mil.
7. User Step 5 for mini-FTOPs 2 day event. (This seems like it might be fun)
I am willing to wait to use the Step 6 for a more profitable time. My total bankroll is around 4k-ish, so I am open to take some reasonable shots to build. Right now I am only playing MTTs of ABI of $10 until I get more cushion in my bankroll.
Overall, I am looking to do the wisest thing with these tickets.
Thanks for any help.
