Maybe ther is not a single best pregame or post session exercise, but I'm looking for a few ideas or suggestions/
I'm learning alot in the University videos but I think my hand review and off the table exercise is lacking some.
It might work well to start with some basic pre or post game routine to help get in the habit. I tend to play long hours and lack on off the felt work. I know I really need to start posting more hands and stuff for feedback also. I have been a member a couple months now and am learnig alot. I want to pick it up some more from here though and take full advantage of being a member.

I try to review a full tournament from the previous day before every session. Or just look over my HM2 numbers from the preceding day or week. This is a fairly minimalistic warmup though, and I'm sure I could do better. In general I find the best preparation to be exercise and meditation – that does me more good than any strategic review ever could.
In terms of post session, I like to get away from the table as soon as possible. I'm usually tired and mentally drained after a session, so I don't find that the best time to review. I like to review when I'm alert and fresh, rather than when I'm tired and possibly a little tilted if I've had a bad day.
