What do you think of this ship? What would be your default range for shipping in the scenario? Villain unknown. I look at this situation and see that villain has a decent size stack. He should be stealing wide here. My stack can cause a reasonable dent in his id he calls and loses thus I should be shoving very wide here. Something like 22+,A2s+,K2s+,Q4s+,J6s+,T6s+,95s+,85s+,74s+,64s+,54s,A2o+,K6o+,Q7o+,J7o+,T7o+,97o+,87o. Am I way off base? What kind of calling range can we assign?

No reads. I'm looking for a general strategy in this situation and then deviate from that based on reads/flow.

when im 3 bet shoving light i generally like to do it with hands that flop really well. K8h is a hand that doesnt really flop well and if im called 99% of the time your crushed. i would rather 3 bet shv hands like 78 89 910 suited QJ, J10 and obv beg for a fold but K8h for me is a fold. the other thing is i dont think you really need to panic at this point as your stack has a considerable amount of play in it. look for a better spot imo

I agree with ttwist here, you don't want to spaz out with K8s in this situation. In BvB i look for hands that will flop well and don't tend to come up dominated if he calls for the shove. I also like to limp SB into BB to see what the BB will do and get a feel if they are going to spaz out for future reference. From the BB I like to play a little more cautious. If they shove into me, it obviously tightens up my calling range and if he limps i tend to take the flop a lot of the time and play in position. Check out the BvB Theory Video for more help with this though.
