Bankroll, what to do with it now that i have it

I made 14k in live MTT poker in march, the best month to date i have had in my poker career. I normally would buy into tourneys when i could afford to from my real job (losing player i guess but thats why i joined TPE), but now i am faced with an option to spend the cash, or invest it back in to my poker career. What should i/what would u do with it? Vacation time?

Congrats Spider!!
I would not leave that kind of $$ on any site right now.
Take out all but about 25-50 buyins (less would be better) and redeposit if you need to.
Depending on which site ur on withdrawing is not easy, P2P transfer is a good way to get $$ of a site.
I would put most of the money in a no-load mutual fund and use it as you “Poker Account”. Then spend some,
you earned it! JMO GL!!

I wouldn’t increase your online ABI too much since live poker is far and away easier than online poker.

Personally, I’d hire a really good poker coach and spend a couple thousand dollars there to up my skill level a lot in a short amount of time.

I don’t really see why you need a poker coach. I would take about 1k and deposit it online, and start grinding MTTs. Start watching videos here. TALK TO OTHER PLAYERS.

Save the rest honestly.

If I were you, invest maybe 500-1 k online on stars. Watch the TPE vids, read the forums as lots of decent players on this site with good thoughts on hands and just always keep studying and trying to improve your game. Ive made 6 k on stars in last 5 weeks and it was largely down to the above turning me from a break even player into someone who can potentially win tournaments.

been reading tons, kill phill, kill everyone, and razors edge(like 3 times), also a few of phil gordons books, all have earned me those scores. always ready for more 🙂
