Hey guys,

I am a micro stakes player typically playing 2-10 buy-in range with occassional leaps to 10-30 range. Within a year since starting on pokerstars I have grinded $100 bankroll to my current stars bankroll of $750 after a couple cash outs while running worse on fulltilt with a consistent bankroll of $100. With a new found focus on MTT's and really taking the time to get the experience and knowledge needed to do well in them I feel like my first 4 figure score is just around the corner. My question is what is the best way to move up from micro stakes? With my total bankroll being $850, it is not really proper bankroll management to play low to mid stakes but that is where I wanna be. With my studying the game and determination should I start grinding 10-20 buy-in MTT's with good value knowing a big score is possible? What do you suggest is the best way to move up from micro stakes and get out of my bankroll funk? Thanks…love the site!

Im pretty conservative but I would stick to $5 and under tourneys and sattelites.  Honestly, you could probably crush the $4/180s and grind that bankroll up pretty quick.

It might be worth just focusing on sattelites for a while and keep the T$…its pretty amaznig how quickly it can add up!

my advice would be to add a few more tables and get your super grind on at the lower stakes.

for example if you usually play 4, try playing 6-8 at your lower stakes that you know you can beat, and your bankroll will get to the point where you can play the higher buyins in a lot less time
