Are 45mans or 180mans better bankroll builders? I have the time to play long sessions of both but just unsure if one is likely to be more profitable than the other.

180 mans.  45 mans are too reg heavy these days.  180 mans are still pretty soft.

I've had better success with the 45man sng's.  Never really got in the groove with the 180's, but everyone is different.  Play equal amounts of both and determine for yourself which type you have better success with and go from there.  There are regs at various sng's so your gonna run into them no matter what.

my advice would be to play a butt load of each and then see which one you like better.

personally, i prefer the 90 mans on tilt, and 6max turbo SNGs when i am not playing MTTs.

I personally love the 45 man sngs on FTP. There is not a turbo-non turbo but they have 6 minute levels and never have antes so it allows me to play the TAG style I play best because blinds arent worth stealing till late, when most of the players in these nit up near the FT. I personally think you can play higer in these in relation to your roll than you canthe turbos on stars, either the 45s or 180s, because the variance is way lower form my experience.

love turbos, they are harder, but open much faster and you can play one level like $12.  If you play non turbo sngs you will have to play a ton of different buy ins and still can't put in the same volume.  My advice is if you can handle the swings play turbos, your ROI wont be as good, but your bottom line will be better.

Cheers guys. How often is everyone cashing in the 180 mans? A rough sort of idea so I don't get so depressed when I bubble every tourny and miss haha. Also your ROI?

I don't play very many of these but I think the best advice is to play a good sample size of both and see which you enjoy more and stick with those.

What u suggest as far as sites go? or turbo or non? and yada yada yada

The reason I ask is I never have time to really run thru some MTTs I can only play SnGs nowadays.

I know sample size but I only mix these in at the end of sessions. These are the $12 45 man SNGs on FTP, 6 min levels, no antes. These are the perfect mix of turbo and no imo. Graph is from about a month ago, shipped one and top 3 in a few more over the weekend that puts my ROI at just over 80% in these but only about a 200 sample size. I highly recommend them.

I definitely prefer the 180s over the 45s on stars.  45's are very profitable but I think more fish play the 180s.

my ITM is 12.13%

yeah mixing them is great.  First you have a higher percentage of the field payed in 45s, so you will less often blank 10 in a row.  Second it's easier to play an ongoing set and certain hours when you can play both.
