I'm going to be out in Vegas from June 12 – July 12. I'm going to try something a little different this year and sell quite a bit of my action. I'm looking to put together some tournament package deals but not exactly sure how to go about it. Looking to play Venetian Deepstack tournaments, some WSOP Events, and some Main Event tournaments at like Binions, Caesars, and the Golden Nugget. Can someone please tell me what's standard in these deals as far as mark-up and splitting percentage. Assuming 60-40 or 50-50 is pretty standard. Let me know, thanks.

I've sold a few live packages on other sites and from what I can gather from your post you want 100% backing for your live tournament run. This will prob not happen unless you're killing it online, have live experience, and reputable person dealing with other people's money. Also, if you are looking for 100% stake and some 50-50 split you're not in position to ask for mark-up. If an investor finds a lot of value in you, you might be able to squeeze some mark-up with a 70/30 split in the investors flavor.
I would recommend selling a BAP (buy a piece). You sell 60% of your stakes, you pay for 40%… you can have people buy pieces as low as 2%. If it is your first stake you would have a better chance of selling it out if there was no mark-up, but completely up to you.
I hope this didn't sound too negative, just keeping it real. Hit me up and I can direct you to somethings that have already been written about this from the players and investors perspective.

Even 70/30 is unlikely without makeup. For live poker it's usually 85/15 because variance is so high due to small sample sizes. YOu can get a better sense from browsing this forum: …..ares-live/
