Hi everyone, just played this hand and think it was right after all, considered the bb who openshoved here had previously (like 7-8 hands earlier) openshoved Ajoff…
Would you play it in some other manner? And in general, with 3 people (and 2 fairly big stacks) left to act, would u play this hand this way at the final table? I usually do…
Let me know,
Filippo

I snap fold in this spot. You have 26BBs and you have to hope that UTG is shoving wider than AT and that no one wakes up behind you with a better hand, even though there are only 3 players left to act. If you saw villain show AJo 8 hands ago then this tells you nothing about his shoving range since AJo is in most players' shoving ranges with 10BB in this spot. It helps us to make better suggestions when we don't see the results btw, so try to put the hand history in the converter and leave the results out. Hope that helps.
I can see a good case for folding here or reshoving to iso as well. You are 5 handed and the shover has 10bbs so it is entirely possible he is shoving super wide, but without really knowing the player and not having seen anything from his jamming it makes it harder. I don't really think it is bad to reshove and isolate here, I think it is just flat unlucky that someone found a hand behind you. I am a pretty aggressive player so it is pretty good that given this situation I would play it the same regardless of where I was in a tourney.
SNG Wizard has this as a fold without the utg shove. Versus a very loose shove (23%) it suggests we only get 88+,AQ and AJs in. I'm not sure 23% is a very loose shove in all honesty, but that's what SNGWiz has it as. Villain would have to be shoving 39% for this to be a neutral iso-shove here. Is villain really shoving hands like Q6s and K5o here? I think it's a fold.
