I found this hand very difficult to play so I have a few questions…

Should I be reraising preflop? BTN was 33/24 over 76 hands with 42% attempt to steal from LP. My thinking in flatting was that I keep in weaker aces that I beat.

Should I just flat on the flop? BB has donked a few times with marginal holdings.

On the turn… what do I do now? Villain is 38/1 over 74 hands.

Had button been 4bing at all?  I don't mind flatting pre with these stacks but if hes capable of 4bing much or light at all I'd have np 3b/calling for value.  As played I think I'm flatting the flop…..if one of them has a spade draw they probably aren't going anywhere.  Kinda scary to see BB flat…..any other reads on BB with how he plays postflop?  On turn I'm prob checking to see what he does…..sucks if he has a draw here by giving him a chance to chk behind and get a free card but I can't see bet/folding turn being a good option at all.  Raising flop and getting flatted just gets you in such a tough spot on turn as stacks are awkward and A9, A7, 99, 77 are all in his range but also is a ton of other stuff since hes running a 38/1…..I feel flatting flop is best option as played go ahead and chk turn and reevaluate based on his turn action.

ATo doesn't flop well at all so I'm almost never flatting it out of position.

Here I 3 bet to about 7000 and really consider getting it in 5 handed. But with those stats I expect him to fold a ton.

If he flats and we hit our Ace or Ten we've now built the pot so that all the money is easily going in on the flop.

The main reason I dislike your line is because your question to us is based on your Turn action which means you raised him without having any plan and being the first to act on the Turn.

When you're faced with these spots you really need to time bank and come up with a range of hands for him. If you decide his range here is a low of draws and worse Ax/pocket pair hands you can raise and put in a large Turn bet but that is borderline spewy.

If you're afraid of being dominated or you think he could have sets in his range you need to just call this tiny bet.

The one thing I think I disagree with Cougars about is the Villain having A7 or A9. I really feel like we get re-raised by two pair. Sets may flat, though.

As a general rule you don't want to voluntarily build large pots out of position if you're unsure of where you are at in the hand.

OK is this the common consensus here: 3bet this hand b/c the button is aggro and the BB looks like he flats ANY RAISE. Our hand does hold value against button's range and we are narrowing the BB's calling range (this guy seems like a donk that is calling everything).

On the flop: you gotta have a plan. If you are gonna raise and then you gotta continue the aggression. As played tho, I dont mind the c/r just lower the raise to like ~3.5k.

On the turn you gotta bet: With 29k behind any bet commits you…Any1 agree with just shoving? Our BB moron/villain looks like he is playing anything that looks appealing. Thoughts?
