Tricky spot. I’d say it is pretty much villain dependant. If he’s opening a lot I’d prefer 3beting pre to narrow his range, if he’s more of a tight player or a maniac I’d rather fold. As played I’d fold… You’ve put two blinds into the pot and you still have around 40BB left.. no reason to burn your stack, better to preserve it for another situation.
I don’t like floating one cause our stack at 40BB is pretty comfortable and sizeable, no need to put it on the line in this spot trying to outplay a stack that can actually hurt us.
