Hello!

I would like to open discussion about my yesterday's hand.

…..g/?6718257 ( unfortunately cannot convert using TPE converter  frown)

Setup: We are playing 13,5$ Knockout. First flatter is a fish so we are not concerned about him having only top range. And Villain is a middle stakes reg. There is not much history between us.

I assume that villain's range preflop is: 55-AA, ATs+, AJo+, KTs+, KQo, QTs+, JTs.

I make standard cbet and he calls. I perceive his range as: AA, KK, AK (which are pretty unlikely due to blockers and his preflop action), QQ, JJ & TT ( probably with one diamond), all broadway combos with pair and diamond, diamond and gutshot or flush draws and of course all Ax.

Turn action: [LINE CHECK] Is checking correct here ?

I assume that if I am calling his turn bet then I have to call his river shove at all blanks. I think that he will check behind at turn all hands with decent showdown value (like AQo) and hands with mediocre showdown equity but with big improve potential (like KxQd), which he is afraid of getting c/r.

A few words about his turn bet sizing. Imo it doesnt look too protective on such wet board.

Considering the fact that his range still got good equity against my hand or has me beat  + my positional disadvantage I decided to throw my hand away and preserve my stack.

Looking for any responses.

Thanks in advance smile

Looks good.

“I assume that if I am calling his turn bet then I have to call his river shove at all blanks.”

Do you mean with this hand or with any hand? Because you generally should have a range for calling turn and folding river, otherwise you lose to Villains who never bluff river.
