34 players get paid, theres roughly around 37-40 players left at this spot. Table overall has been pretty nitty, the villain has just shown up and taken the table fishes entire stack with KK when fish 3 bet jammed like 40bb with a mediocre hand. Is it too nitty to fold here? Do you think he's trying to run the table so close to the bubble? Is flatting an option?

I think folding is out of the question. I’d probably lean towards 4 bet folding rather than a flat. A small 4 bet should be all that’s required.
The reason being that if he happens to flat your 4 bet, it should take JJ/QQ/KK/AA/AK out of his range. As you were the last aggressor, you can get a fold on a lot of flops if he has AJ, medium pairs, suited broadway, etc.

Even if you don’t like the flop and decide to check, you may get a check behind as he could suspect you of trapping due to the strength you showed pre flop.

It’s not a fun spot but if you end up having to fold, you’ll still have 23-24BB (assuming a 4 bet of around 6k) which lets you coast to the bubble, and then still have a playable stack.

To me a small 4b looks quite weak. If you 4b/fold you're also likely to get less respect in future spots.

Jamming isnt a mistake to me but u do have a very playable stack if u just fold so hmmm

Because it's such an awkward spot a call would seem the best. I dont think he'll go overboard because your stack can harm villain.

This is a hard spot to analyze without a read.  At this level, there are still quite a few players who won't 3 bet you light in such an obviously good spot to 3 bet.  If he is capable, his 3 bet could be 9% or a little more from this spot where you could 4 bet stuff profitably, but if he's more typical for this level, it could be 3% and there it's probably a fold.

I don't like the 4bet.  It lets him gets us off the hand with some pairs that we are flipping with, lets him fold hands like QK, QJ, QT, AT, Axs that may well be in his 3bet range which we dominate.

I like flatting here in position.  We don't know much about this guy, or where we stand against his 3betting range, but if we flop a pair or flush draw, we can be happy risking a lot of our stack.  If we don't, we can fire a cbet for the same price as the small 4bet suggested above.

We're OOP and have no initiative to cbet. Leading out on the flop with a hit would usually be a mistake tbh. He wants to take a pot away from you, so give him a chance to hang himself.

With what hands do we just call OOP and what hands would we 4b?

AQ+ and AA,JJ to call with and QQ, KK to click it back?

It's a $4 MTT so we can just take pure value lines each hand but having a split range like the one above is pretty exploitable as you play harder games.

I hate a 4b/f with a hand this strong so if we're 4 betting it's with the intention of getting it in but since we really have no reads on this villain I am inclined to take the path of less variance.

I'm probably calling pre here, and with my whole range that I'd continue with. He's going to cbet close to 100% of flops so I'd flat big hands pre to c/r really dry/bluffy boards and get it in.

Ya I cant imagine myself folding, 4$ or 100$, this hand is pretty strong here.

I think here I might just call, since I get the impression that villain is more likely to play worse post flop than he is pre flop.

I agree with FkCoolers, I think flatting and c/shoving here is going to turn us a good profit.  I would c/shove every board that isnt King high or monotone(with not pair or anything).  If he is c betting, he should be doing so around 3-3.5kish so we SHOULD have dcent FE with 12k, and even if we dont our hand plays decently, and can somtimes be ahead if he flops some random draw.

In higher stakes I almost always 4 bet here planning to snap off a shove.
