Definitely just making a standard raise here and will decide what to do from there.

By shoving we essentially remove the possibility of spew and mistakes from what our villains are capable of doing.

Yeah standard open for sure. If we get 3 bet vs certain stacks we can get it in. And we can also avoid the possibility of a big cooler and fold if it goes 3bet/4bet/5bet or something. If you shove you are turning your range face up and allowing people to call something like AQo, 88s-99s+ giving them no room to get in worse hands or play bad like fkcoolers said.

I like a 2-3bb open in this spot (whatever you'd normally open, don't change your usual sizing).  You've got a few 3b shoving stacks to act after you, and inducing them to do so would be great (the MP1, CO, SB and BB).  I think a shove is not warranted here with AQo and a 20bb stack.  Open, see a flop and assess.  If you must fold on the flop, you've still got enough to work with to make some good 3b shoves.

I would shove here with 15-17bb's or less.
