So what do you do on the flop.  I am always confused here.  Are we giving up and preserving 20k.  I assume if we c-bet we’re not folding to a shove, right?

Villain is 25/11 over 140 hands and somewhat active postflop.

great post ron i aswell get stuck in these spots , in this spot i feel were ahead a great amount me personally i like cbetting here then probally jamming any turn , def calling if they ship in on me, but my whole line of thinking could be way wrong here the stack size is just awkward 28 bbs. i def like the 3 bet here with ace q from the sb , but i hate 3 bet folding this stack and i think if you folded you would be folding the winner to often , but i do get stuck on this hand post flop so i myself would love to hear more thoughts on this.

i think if your intentions were to get it all in to begin with, why not put the decision to him and go all in.

What i’ve learnt from hitthepanda’s video is that stacks between 5-30 bb’s are 3 bet shove stacks than opening stacks so in this case i would 3bet all in and put the decision in his hands

as dbt says you’re ahead most of the time and if he does have you beat then good for him

I think 3b shoving doesn’t give him the chance to shove worse.  It’s not like he’s calling A2s, but he could definitely 4b shove A2s.  Basically we don’t want to fold out certain hands that we dominate.

i do agree with this even more so in lower limits give them rope , but its pretty standard  that the limper may have 77+ kj + ax+  in some cases theyll have 99s 10s, and are very willing to shove over are 3 bet in which i wont mind the flip here. other then that we are miles ahead so i agree that just an open rejam we lose value here over the long term. meaning the times they fold ect , because i really feel aq in this spot his ahead a fair amount so i really like a 3 bet verses a open shove here and im not 3 bet folding, honestly i think id do the same with ace 10s  here , ive also been known to do this with a wide range 10 9 s  type hands ect hands that flop well in this spot.
