Just want peoples thoughts on how I played the hand. The villain was pretty decent player in my eyes. He had thrown out some 3 bets earlier so thats why I didn't put him on AK with the flat. Should I have laid it down after he raises my c-bet? These spots are always tough and I think this is where I have some leaks. Thoughts and opiniors are definitely welcome.
Thanks in advance!

Given your read regarding AK not being in his range, and the fact that a typical player in a $4 will call incorrectly with AJ and worse As here preflop, then overvalue them post flop I'd play the same way. Obv 44 and 33 are there too but I think the combos against this sort of player favor the wider part of his range being worse As.
I haven't played the $4s in a while though so I could be wrong about the random player profile.

I would have shoved as well. You hit the flop and had a good kicker. I would have probably shoved after his first reraise, needles to say he was getting it in anyways. At these stakes AQ will be the best hand the majority of the time. I play these stakes too and some of the shit people bring to showdown. LOL

OK I put this into PokerStove and gave him the folloing hands based on his push, I left out all premium hands he probably would have played faster preflop, and anything weaker assuming he would not push your 3-bet on the flop.
AQ,AQs,AJ,AJs,AT,ATs,A4s,A3s,44,33
PokerStove says you are 56/44 favorite.

To me, his min raise of your original flop bet of 825 screams of a donk with a set.
Yeah, this sort of clowny play has gotten me jammed up a bunch in these tourneys of late. I am starting to see a lot of players at the micro level using the min bet lead or the min bet reraise as a method to figure out where they are combined with horrendous value betting. I would expect a lot of times to run into the set here. If he had just flatted I would expect to see a worse Ace.
The min raise is hard to read as lespaul said it may be strength or air. Considering your stack size and blind level, I'm not sure I want to go to the rail with one pair. I understand at this level a random may be overvaluing a worse ace but I would try to control the pot size here and keep it small. If stacks were shorter it's an easy shove.
