Is there anything I can do here? Would you raise all-in against an aggro? b/c he has been limp calling about 30% of his hands in about 50 hands.

WWYD?

JT flops are not really good flops in term of textures to cont. bet with or running a bluff.

Let’s list some hands that have us beat that the villian could have hit on that flop:

AJ, AT, AQ, KJ, KT, QK, J9, JT, QJ, QT, 98, Q9 etc etc etc.

So simply, just fold and move on.

I think I was just getting irritated there. Big reason why I posted that hand probably. In that tourney in particular, it was rough.

I had AQ about 4 times in 2 to 3 orbits, would raise and not connect on the flop. Same thing on JJ and 99, I raised and then one of those flops cam AKQ….I was like OMG. I just felt like my image at the table was, oh dont worry about this guy he raises pre then folds on the flop.

Plus the guy that was in the hand was very loose, I mean very loose and aggro. I did not know if I could take advantage of it there.

Anyways, that is my fault about not explaining the dynamics more. Cut and dry version is:

-Table is really loose, limping alot (6-max at the donk levels are like that)

-I raise 3x pre (before antes)

-I check/fold the flop b/c the hands that I did raise would not connect

Anyways, I was trying to make something happen with the good hands I was getting. Just frustrating that I couldnt, anyways I know be patient, keep your head up, stay positive, and there is always other nights. I just try to remember that Cool

I wanna shove here pretty badly, especially now that we’ve included reads.  We have a decent chunk of our stack in the pot already (not to mention how perfectly stacks set up for a shove given his bet).  These donk bets are typically weak, so there is fold equity, and even when called, we have 4 outs to the nuts, our A or Q is good a non-zero percent of the time (stoving a bunch of calling ranges got me anywhere from 31% to 40% equity, we’re getting 1.8:1 on a shove if my maths were right, and considering fold equity, I think we’re close).  We can even be called by draws, in which we’re not only ahead, but also have blockers (vs. KQ, 98, etc.)
