So we left 210$ to play for i a tourney after making a deal and villain did not understand this so he jammed every single hand. This i an easy call 33.5 bbs deep but how deep would we need to be to fold AJo here and which hands do we fold in this particular spot? A9, KJ and 55 ??
77+ has better equity vs a random hand.

There’s no reason to guess about this. You can literally calculate your exact equity with any hand. FWIW both of the calling ranges suggested so far for Hero are way off. With a little more work, you can even calculate your exact edge in a game where V continues jamming any two and use that to modify how much equity you need to call. I’ll say this, though: your edge is not huge, and without crunching any numbers, my guess is that you should call anything with 55%+ equity vs ATC.
Sorry to lecture, but as tournament players, you guys should have better instincts about which hands will perform best all in pre-flop against wide ranges. If you’re folding 88 but calling A2 here, you really really really need to spend some time with an equity calculator because you’re surely making a lot of shoving/folding/calling mistakes at the table.

yes he was jamming every hand he did not know there was still money to play for. Oh wow surprised to see we have to call with hands that have more than 55% equity. that includes 44, Q8s, k7o any ace etc. Good to know. The easy part here is to check equity we have vs a random hand, pokerstove does that for example. I have no idea how to find out and calculate my edge vs a player that pushes every hand though. But i guess its not that important as this situation almost never occurs. Thanks for replies, appreciated!

You’ll be surprised I ran into this heads up strategy a couple times. This is the heads up strategy written in Kill Phil. All in from the SB every hand and all in any time the BB does not shove first.
The longer time goes on, the more convinced I am that Kill Phil is just one giant troll by PH.
That aside, I’m with Andrew here. There are probably a lot of hands that are snap-calls in this spot that many people are folding. If you’re ditching 88, for example, then you’re arguably making his strategy pretty profitable for him – if you’re folding all but the top 10-15% of hands, I imagine jamming any two cards for 33.5bb is a pretty good exploit on his part.
