Hi again,

Im playing pretty bad and really need to improve so lots of hands to be posted over the next while, and please go for it with where I'm messing up cos it really helps!

I found myself SS after butchering AA earlier and now new table here so no reads. I feel that my 3b was too small pre.

I think u played this hand fine.

From my understanding there seems to be two camps when 3 betting OOP, Depending on blind levels some like to 3bet 2 – 2.5x and the other camp 2.5 – 3x.

I'm in the camp of 2.5 – 3x. Your 3bet is slightly over 3x so neither here nor there but probably on the bigger side but otherwise not much more you can do on this flop than shove.

The other thing, with your stack, your larger 3 bet is saying “I'’m not folding” so you might fold out worse hands which you dominate (which you didn’t this time) and not giving your opponent a chance (induce) to shove worse. So a smaller 3 bet might be better in this instance.

Short of hitting an Ace or King it's the best flop you could of hoped for, so assuming your cards are live, you’'re an approx 55-60% favorite. Do what you can to get the chips in, which you managed to achieve.
