This is fairly early in a $5.50 1000 cap tournie. I decide to 3b the early position open since flatting will invite too many people in behind and we're likely to have to play a multiway pot. When we get cold 4b jammed on, am I right in thinking that there will be significantly better spots to pick up chips than taking a marginal spot here? We need 47% to break even, which means we need to think he's capable of jamming worse Aces against an EP open and a 3b, which I feel is unlikely.

snap fold. i doubt he's ever doing this with worse aces. yeah theres a chance you are flipping but you could be crushed too. he could have the same hand as well. bottom line is we don't need to put in 100+ BB's here ever.

I'm folding here as well.  Just not worth the risk at this stage of the tourney.  He might be just tooling out with worse aces but its not very likely.  Just fold and find better spots.  Don't mind your 3b at all here.

Snap folding.

Calling here is just all kinds of unneccessary.  You've built a pretty nice stack already, there's no reason to risk it in such a stupid spot, where small mistakes in estimating his range cost you huge amounts of equity in the tourney.
