This is low stakes. Maybe this is a standard fold, I dont understand why he didnt call or raise less for value if he had the nuts, there are really no draws here. But lately I have been thinking there is a lot of Bluff shoving, As soon as you show any weakness, people shove on you on dry non Ace/King flops any thoughts?

These freakin lines get me pissed off. What the hell is he limp/calling with in the first place?
I think most fish would have done this on the flop with any T and I'm a bit concerned that he waited until the turn.
He very well might be doing it with air just bec u ch'd.
Regardless, a T shows up in alot of limped hands and I think he has a ten here enough of the times to fold.
Plus he could be doing it with 33, 55, 66, 88, 99 now because he didn't know what to do on the flop.
It sucks because your folding the best hand some of the times but you should have a major skill advantage over these players
to do some damage with your remaining stack.
Plus if you call and he flips over Q7 or something like that, I think that would be enough to ruin my day.
Oh, and btw, I think Killingbird or RFB mentioned it in the podcast, it seems these days you have to double barrel alot more than before –
pple are just not folding to cbets as much as before – especially on flops such as this.

yeah I know, maybe a bet on the turn was the right play. but I wanted to pot cojntrol and it might have blown up in my face.
Agree with mmfitter…..
It's unforntuante but you have to let it go….. you still have chips.
His range is so wide here and you only have Ace high. He may have small pockets pairs, perhaps even turned a boat with 44??? Or is he the sort of fish to play T7 because he's seen Daniel Negreanu play it as his favourite hand…..
What were your reads on villain? Did you have any stats on him? Was he limp/calling a lot pre and check/calling a lot post? Did he show any aggression previously on some sort of draw or bluff?
I think regardless of reads this is a fold. A lot of limp/call villains just like to see flops. When they don’t go away after the c/bet they either have a draw or some sort of pair. Since the only draw here is 89 the rest of his range has you drawing to 6outs.
It might be a more tricky decision if there were more draws on the board but his line is so strong post flop. In my experience, when the passive limp/caller comes out a betting – your pretty certain that your non-pair hand is beat.
