Hey Guys whats goin on, so this is a hand from the Party/Borgata 50k Sunday Major in NJ.  $200 buy-in, were down to 3 tables I believe at this point, and we started with about 300 players.  Easily ITM already.

1st Sorry about the HH, ill clean it up the best I can.

2. opponents were playing fairly weak out of the blinds up to this point, giving up on most flops after defending about half the time.  Villian in particular was running 40/20 over 180 hands.

Basically, I'm looking at a line check.  Our stack is 30bb which would put us right around.. ~16/24 (roughly, dont remember exact.)

I'm thinking I should of checked back the flop.  With that being said, after I had cbet and got flatted I should of shut down.  Instantly that meant when I saw the Q, I wanted to continue betting it, seeing as there are plenty of Q's in my opening and cbetting range..  i believe it might have been pointless, cause I was probably looking at trips..

With that, I think this was a good spot to check back and preserve our stack especially against 2 opponents originally, no?  As played should I see that river for free, or be betting when that Q drops?

Any thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated! dont be afraid to criticize! thats how we learn!

Hmm this is interesting.  If the flop had a flush draw this hand would be fairly differnt(more differnt then usuall).  If it had a flush draw, I would be fine going 3 streets as a bluff.  As it is, I am not sure I am comfortable going more than 1.

With that said, I think 2 is the worst of the three options.  If we bet turn , we need to go river too imo.  Most villains will not have trips and just be c/c'ing here, so we would want to barrell dow on safe cards.

But, like I said earlier, i think I give up and check turn.  We could feasibly be ahead, and if the river is a blank, I wouldnt be opposed to thinking about a hero call.

As played folding is obviously standard.

AK is a relatively strong hand in this situation. I mean, it sounds like you are betting your whole range on this flop, so surely AK is towards the top of it. You shouldnt' be thinking in terms of turning it into a bluff. Just because you could have a Q doesn't mean people are going to fold pairs to a turn barrel.
