Hey guys,
What's the standard here?
You've got an M of less than 6 (M=stack/<blinds+antes>, in otherwords how many orbits before you blind out.)
1) This may be the best hand you see in the next 40 hands.
2) Art this point in the tourney you're liable to be up against Ax vs small/medium pair. I don't think your opposition's range is likely to be as tight as it would earlier in the tourney.
3) You certainly can't call and fold if you don't hit the flop.
4) Shoving lets you see al 5 cards.
5) Shoving takes position out of the equation.
6) If this is close to the money bubble in a 27-man then you might have some fold equity. If everybody is in the money you won't.
7) If you do get two callers and AK holds you're in great shape to triple up.
So go ahead and call and be relieved when you get called by A-4. Then wait for the 2, 3, 5 runner.

I am surprised to see all the people at your table with short stacks. I agree with everyone else this a shove hand. Usually in this spot you will get action because you are low on BBs and people tend to think you are defending the BB.
