Looking at this hand, the first thing I realise is my pre flop re raise sizing is not great. On the positive side, in the past I would shove AK as a 4 bet and hope for the best, so I was pleased that I held back and called after several raises.

The king on the flop gave me the go ahead as I felt he was most likely to have JJ or QQ due to the blockers I had to AA and KK plus the K on the flop.

i think both options 4betting and 4bet shoving AKo this deep are really bad.

What range do you expect villain to be 3betting and gii vs your 4bet?

as played flop and turn are way too big. With your sizing i doubt JJ and QQ (btw JJ should be a flat pre 100% of the time and QQ >70% of the time)  call on flop and are for sure folding river.

your hand is good for 2 streets of value and there are not many draws out there so you can bet turn and river or flop and river.

Villains most likely holdings are AKs, KK and maybe AA(if he traps pre) the way he played it. so there is 1 combo AKs remaining with which he is freerolling you, x% of 6 combos of AA and 1 combo of KK with which he crushes you but bc we are getting gigantic odds we are committed to call and hope he turns over AKss
