All,
I am going to post a few hands in a few threads but in a different way. I want to look at it from the point of view of the opponent, therefore the opponent is the Hero and I am the villan (the hand history reflects this, I have changed the hands and hidden mine but show the now hero's hand). I want to analyze what my line, the villan, looks like and if I am repping what I want.

I had 78. The other guy had been aggressive prior and felt that if I bet the boat I would lose any chance of value, so going to the river was the only shot I thought I had of getting any more chips. When the A hit and he bet into me, I purposefully made the bet big enough to look bluffy.
Before we just snap call this river as the hero, lets put the villain on a range of hands that he would shove this river with. He either has a boat, or complete air. He is never shoving a weaker ace like aq/aj. Also, from the villains point of view the hero's hand is pretty face up. It looks like ak/aq/aj, or pocket aces. The villain is not going to think that he can push the hero off a big ace on this river so he almost always has a 6 or an 8. both have the same relative strength because the hero shouldn't have an 8 in his utg+1 raising range. Villain should be folding to the shove on the river even though we have TPTK. The villain just isn't likely to be bluffing here at all.
On a side note. You probable shouldn't be flatting 78suited to an utg+1 opener when he starts the hand with 27bb. The stacks just aren't deep enough. It's like having a small pp in this spot. We couldn't flat with one because we arent getting the right odds to set mine
