Hand below occurred fairly deep into the Big $11. I have been multi-tabling so have no real read on villain other than in the short time we have played together he has been pretty LAG according to his stats but 26 hands is not enough to draw firm conclusions about tendencies.

I am looking to get views as to:

a) what would you do preflop.

b) what would you do on the turn / river here.

As played I think I could have sized my 3b a little bigger but I was not really expecting villain to call in this spot. I incorrectly assumed that he was going to 3b/f or 4b. If he 4 bets then I am probably going with it even though it starts bordering on a deep shove.

Preflop we are super deep so unless you have a dynamic to get this in vs worse for 60+ bbs, flatting is good. If you are 4betting pre I would definitely make my sizing bigger in a tournament like the Big $11 since most players who are 3 betting the weaker part of their range are definitely flatting that small of a 4bet in position. This deep if you are looking to get it in, make your 4 bet around 17-18K. As played I would just cbet and give up if he calls like you did. Like I said it is the big $11. If opponenet has an overpair he is never going anywhere, and it is such a soft tournament that it is way too spewy to triple barrel bluff etc in and better to just conserve 40+ bbs and move on. Not many players in this field will be floating you with AJ, AQ in this spot.

Without much info on villain, I would only 4bet for value pre.  AKo pre isn't such a value hand, especially OOP, so I'd prefer a call here.  If you're going to 4b, make it 3x+ to 22,000 or so.  I like to charge opponents extra for their right to play against me IP.

I agree with the flop cbet here (although it feels a little small to me, unless this is standard cbet sizing for you), but would give up the turn to no improvement.

I would've c/f the turn.  The best you can hope for is an A or K for just 6 outs.  This is 12% or so to hit, but you're being charged 13% so it's a marginal call.  Also, the sizing of his bet here looks to me like he wants a shove from you.

With his pre and f calls, and t bet, I'd say he's got JJ, QQ, AcQc or possibly 88 that he's stringing you along with.  I don't think you can get him to fold any of these to any size river bet, especially now that his spr is 1:1.5.  He's committed to this pot now.  If you bet or c/c here, you're just hoping to pick off a bluff.
