I got 3rd in this tupid tournament playing very badly 3 handed ( i didnt adapt to having an aggro guy to my left and a nit to my right, and made a really awful call on the nit, im so tilted and super disappoited by myself)
Anyway we played this hand that i think i really screwed up:
PF : So as i wrote in the title we are at the FT, villain is a good aggro player, everybody else is really bad, i left him alone all ft a i dont think I can pass up this squeeze spot…I used this size to give villain room of 4bet/f
FLOP/TURN: I usually like checking in this spot vs agrros but I think he is good enough to hand read a lil and understad that if we check there we have SW; Also i think he is capable of floating (maybe i'm just overvaluing him as a player idk); having said that i think there are different ways to plan this hand, and each plan has a different size imo: What i should have done imo is bet a lil bigger on flop like 4355 and check call turn if he shoves, or if he checks back just check again on the river (to call)… Or easier way we bet around 4955 on the flop and shove turn…OBVIOUSLY WE CHOSE THE SHITTIEST LINE EVER, because we are REALLY GOOD at poker: so we bet too small on flop and we handcuff our self for the rest of the hand…
Any opinion on what's the best line between the two ? Or maybe Anther line that i didnt think of ?
River: as played i think that would be a mistake calling, im not sure if he is good enough here to turn 99 /TT into a bluff, if he is capable of that props to him, but in game I thought that call mucking and getting 7th was really horrible given the remaning field and i didnt want to make another mistaken only because I made a mistake earlier in the hand (sorry for the shitty grammar i hope you understand what i mean)

I would definitely be checking the flop with the intention of check raising if bet into. It is a difficult spot based upon villian being a solid aggro player and the clip leader. Last thing you obviously want is to get stacked with top pair, top kick when you're second in chips and go out in 7th. That being said, the line you take post flop makes it that much more difficult. I just don't like the bet, bet, check line against this kind of player. I would rather risk him jamming over a check raise on the flop then essentially giving up to a jam on the river.

Thanks for answering… but to be honest i really dont like the check raising line…you always make him play perfectly : he folds all worst hands and we win a small pot or we loose a big pot when he flops set, he can even fold aj aq if we checkl raise there…so yeah i personally really dont like it…to the point that even if the one and only Andrew Brokos him self tells me to check raise here i wouldnt =D

Definitely not going to tell you to check-raise ;-). Bet a bit bigger on the flop, though, to make it a bit easier to get stacks in with just one more bet. The trouble you run into here is that by the river TPTK is not such a strong hand, which is why you'd really like to get it in before then. Checking blank turns ot induce is good, but I'd just shove this one, there are plenty of draws for him to have/put you on, and your small bet invites him to call with a lot of stuff and outplay you on basically all rivers.
