I would bet the turn more and likely you are ahead in this situation. If you had the nuts then checking is an option to give him a false sense of security or allow him to improve to extract more after the river. However, in your case the free card could put him ahead. Better to bet here because you can push him off a draw or something that could beat you if he hits a 1-outer and if he does call it would be a nice value bet.

He has less than a pot size bet left on the turn so I think I'm jamming turn to try and get him to stack off with his flush draws or worse Aces. As played, I call the river (although it looks scary him betting 1000 of his remaing 1620). I think the only reason we should be checking the turn is to show weakness to induce a river bet from missed flush draws and worse aces. Even though I think AJ and sets are in his range sometimes here, I'm still calling because we showed weakness on the turn.

Bet turn all day, as played by checking turn you have to call river.

Pretty easy river call. Some worse Ax hands and pocket pairs get shown by him here.

Yeah, the way you played it you have to call the river, but I agree with everyone else, put him to the test and jam the turn, don't put yourself in a spot where you have to make a decision.  You are ahead of his range that he calls the flop with on the turn IMO, so just shove and let him look you up with worse aces.

Your analysis on this hand was exactly my thought process during the hand. I only ckecked the turn to induce from weaker Aces or missed FD. I did make the river call only thing tho the river J gave his weaker Ace  two pair.

Every1 is calling right in my eyes. You only check the turn to induce a move on the river, you got the move so just call.

Betting the turn isnt bad either, I would shove on the turn b/c of his stack imo
