Hey guys,

I need some opinions on the hand below please.

My thought process was to make my hand look like aces or kings which is why I decided not to shove preflop. I thought that shoving would scream AK, I was trying to make him fold a hand like 88 or 99.

Anyway, after the 4bet I guess I could have checked the flop but the flop looked good for my AK so I decided to continue to represent an overpair and therefore commit to the pot.

I'm very dissapointed right now as I was hoping for a big score – at the time I was 40th out of 300 players remaining (16,500 entrants). How would you have played the hand? I would really appreciate some feedback, thanks!
