OK..Its the 50k tournament in FTP and im UTG+3 with AJo..we are 123 players left (i think 63 get in  the  money) and the blinds are 400-800..

I had lost a big pot 15 mins ago but i got to chip back  to 16350 roughly..The bigblind is the chip leader with over 70k in chips and seems to aggressive.

I raise to 1755,evrybody folds and the big blind 3bets me to 3850…what am i supposed  to do here??

Well i tanked and then shoved..he snap called and showed AK..It held and i got busted..Do u think shoving there with 18,5 bb's left is a bad

move to do???i dlove to hear your opinions guys..

Lately I open jam there. Better than getting flatting behind and having to take a flop with AJo on a now 18 bb stack. C-betting and folding cripples you. I'll take a shot at doubling or just scoop the dead money uncontested.

I'll add my ABI for large field mtt's is only like $10 where light 3 betting doesn't go on so I almost never expect to be able to profitably shove over a 3 bet with AJo in those games.

to be honest guys, maybe i was tilting abit because of a previous big pot i had lost..and moreover, against any other player in the table ,folding would be much easier for me,but against the big stack who was quite aggressive,i couldnt fold..turned out to be wrong..:)..how many bb's,minimum, do u 3bet/shove there guys???

as played easy fold.I agree that allin pre is best option. But you have to do this with premium hands also.

Agree – it should be your whole range in that spot so you don't turn your good hands face up to the 1 or 2 good players at the table. I've shoved 17 bb's with KK and gotten snap called by baby pairs out of the big blind.

What would be the maximum stack size to open jam here? 25bb?
