Hey

reads - V is a loose passive fish. I've seen them r/c a ton as well with very weak hands and just play terrible.

thoughts on betting turn or river?

I definitely wouldn't bet turn. Flop is close, just cuz so many weak hands have pretty decent equity against you. Then again the Ah in your hand is a good argument for checking. I like the way you played it.

After the turn card put two-pair onboard your options are pretty limited as you will most likely have a tough time getting any ace or uncounterfeited pair to fold.  Checking it down seems reasonable.

One of those spots you look at and say, “hrmm, I reckon I shoulda bet the flop”.  It's also a flop that might be contested as your opponent could easily flex their 70bb muscles, check-raise your c-bet and possibly take the pot away.  Considering how little respect the c-bet gets I understand why one might check that flop to try and play a small pot.
