This may well be standard I'm not sure but it caused me to think a lot about it and I'm not sure if I made the right decision.

UTG limp worries me as I dont want to get stuck in between calling if he is trapping with a big hand, obv we're well ahead of the MP shove but do we re-shove or if it a fold with the UTG behind still to act and could be trapping?

It's natural to think UTG limps always have a monster. I'm always also worried when players limp UTG, but I'm more concerned if they are short stacked when they limp from early positon. This guy with 84bbs is probably on most occasions not trapping. (Yes they do sometimes but we play the probabilities, and on most occasions they don't) Without any read or info on this guy, I shove here to isolate with your stack almost always, and I say to myself if the guy has trapped me congrats.

i'd say it depends what kind of player utg+1 is, if hes tight id fold, if he limps every 2nd pot i'd shove.

yeah badabings got the idea

It depends on what type of player UTG+1 is and the whole table dynamic

If he is a habitual limper i'd iso

If he always raises when he opens and all of a sudden limps i'd be suspicious

Also, if the table is hyper aggro and someones getting their stack in the middle every 2nd hand then that would make the UTG+1 limp look more like a trap

hmmm this is kind of tricky, I'd like A little more information on UTG +1 if he's fishy or not seeing how he could easily be calling to induce a shove with there being like 5 re shove stacks at the table. You're right in shoving over MP1 if you're going to play it but without more info on UTG +1 I'm likely to fold here, if he's a fishy player and I havent observed him flatting early with monsters I wouldnt second guess a jam.

I think in the long run you're gonna get busted when it counts the most ISO jamming with marginal hands with no read on players. Given his stack vs stacks at the table I think a limp presents the most FE for a stack 9BB-16BB and will get a re-steal from a greater range of hand as oppose to any raise IMO.
