This is the Bovada $10 10k with about 17 left.
Not trying to be results oriented here. This is a spot that I’d consider a pretty easy shove, but the 3x pre did set off some alarm bells for me.
I decided to ignore the “monsters under the bed feeling”, and proceed with shoving my normal range.
At what point should I give credence to those instincts?
Villain had rather nitty stats but it was a relatively new table and I didn’t have a solid read that allowed me to fold.
Something about it felt counter to the game flow, and I suppose that is what I picked up on.
Obviously, one can stick this in HRC, and its either a jam or not, depending on what we think villain’s opening range is.

A 3x open should be stronger than a min-raise, and HRC takes that into account. I imagine this is still a jam against a “proper” 3x range, so the question is whether this player 3xes his full range or if this was out of the ordinary not just for the table but for him. If it was, I wouldn’t hate calling or folding, but I would still shove AQ, so it’s close. Without that read, you shouldn’t fault yourself for jamming this.
