Had 67 hands on villian and he was running a 21/6 with a 33% call out of
the bb (6 hands). Flop obv smacks his calling range and turn
potentially gives him two pair, a pair and straight draw, heart flush
draw or made straight. Do we just bet the turn and try to get it in due
to stack sizes or do we pot control the turn and reevaluate the
river?

Flop bet is too big imo. It is a wet board but you are still betting for value at that point and your sizing scares away a lot of potential weaker hands that he might call a street with. Normally I would bet slightly more than half pot here and still betting for value on the turn. The pot is so bloated now and any bet commits us if he jams so I think I pot control this turn and call any river bet for most part.
like to check back here. pot control here is important i think. with his flat of your big flop bet (i like 3200-3600) indicates k or combo draw, when 1 of draws get there on turn, he would likely to be looking to c/r you and that puts you in a tough spot. you can call a reasonable bet on river when he comes out firing and take pot down enough times to make it a solid play when he bets his k's that he now thinks are good or his missed draws.

I would check and see what the river brings, I would be ready to call a reasonable bet, depending on card. You could always fire another barrel, but if you are called or raised you are probably beat, the check is better IMO. I agree 100% with other post, pot control no need to bleed chips if things are bad. Your flop bet was high and he called, I would assume he liked what he saw.

unless villain is capable of shoving turn with a combo draw, i wouldn't check back turn, better to b/f like 9k imo.
yeah i think the thing that changes our turn play is the flop bet sizing and thus the turn pot size… it would be a bit easier to 2 barrell the turn with a smaller pot and evaluate what he does
like benny im also not in favour of checking behind on the turn but as played if we bet again it would be in the realm of 8k'ish and a check raise here would pretty much committ us one way or the other
Still only 2 of his hands QJ and K9 got there.. he still has a lot of hands that we're ahead of and should be making pay to draw/ getting value from so i probably 2 barrell here
