Hey,

No reads.

I decided to check river , the reason is because i thought they’ll bet their missed draws on the river as a bluff. I thought their range is pretty weak here , of course they could have a hand like AT/AJ/AQ , considering that we have 2 of the aces and 1 is on the board its , unlikely they’ve got a Ace.

So yeah would u consider this a big mistake or would you had just shoved river?

cheers.

Would have played the hand the same way. I don't see any hand he can have in his range that he's not folding to a 3rd barrel but he's checking behind so I'd just check and hope he bluff or value bet with a pair of sevens or a pair of queens.

Kings, Jacks and Tens are checking back here but I think those hands are folding to a river bet anyway so I think checking here is actually the best option. We are only missing value from AK and AJ (I don't think AT would call a 3 barrel), and those hands are unlikely since we have an ace.

Yeah I think it's a very good river check. I don't agree that V would bet a Q or 7, but I doubt he'd call a bet either. This is a rare instance where your value target needs to be a weak hand because it's hard for your opponent to have a strong one.
