yesterday i witnessed this hand, both of em are very good players. stevie hasnt 3b once in this tourney, f-e is an aggroplayer

what do you think about that call with that stack?

I am guessing there are some dynamics there and these guys know each other. SB vs BB raise can easily be weak so I like the 3bet by FE. The 4bet jam by stevie is an overjam, so that does look pretty weak. I am guessing they at least kinda know each other but I can see how stevie looks weak.

Obviously it was a bvb war that got out of hand and it became a battle of egos.

The call seems totally unnecessary but I'm sure they've been through this before.

When u think of it, maybe in the long run, the gamble of calling lite once in a while is worth it – to show other players that the gap between his 3bet and 4bet calling range is not wide enough to be exploitable.

Flush Entity may be thinking that Stevie would do this with worse Ax plus hands like the one he shows up with and so he decides to go with it using the thought process that he's usually flipping but sometimes 70-30 ahead.

In other news – how much were you hating life having those two on your direct left in a 6 max mtt?
