    HOLE CARDS

i am 28,, first place pays 75,, where i am i got 1.47 from making it in the money so i was looking to chip up.

i got 13 bbs , or 6 m

Dealt to HOLMESBRON

HOLMESBRON raises to 3,200
67spades folds
goldenbow calls 3,200
stonepro333 folds
VinnyJF folds
Abaddon009 calls 2,400
purple02 calls 1,600

my style up to now has been push or fold,, my first reaction was to either push or fold this,, i decided to minraise to try to steal the blinds use my position to represent strength. at this stage i think minraise is the style.

so the first mistake i think is i should folded this or push with the leaning towards fold ?

FLOP:

Abaddon009 checks
purple02 checks
HOLMESBRON bets 17,583, and is all in
goldenbow calls 17,583
Abaddon009 folds
purple02 folds
HOLMESBRON shows

the pot was almost my stack so i figured unless i was up against ace 2, ace 9 , 92, sets, or ace queen, ace king,, i should be good ?

besides floping straights, two pair, trips.. or the flush,, this was the best flop i could of ask for this hand i figured.

at the end of the hand, the pot was worth 49.000

Yeah I'm just shoving it in pre everytime. Jamming this flop as played.

I like min raising pre and folding to UTG1/2 jam and calling any other jams. A reshove from UTG1/2 is typically way ahead of AJs. Reduce variance a bit and induce lower Ax's from sb/BB. <10BB's I jsut jam aipf

Upswing potential is huge

Its a shove or fold pre, I’d lean more towards a shove especially if the blinds are going up soon. Raising here allows donks to call and you will most like be OOP and if you miss the flop it can be an awkward spot. If you do raise with this stack you have to be ready to call any shoves. You also have to remember you may not find a hand this good in the next orbit or so, so sometimes you just have to take your spots.

Seems like you have to shove. With a few more BBs maybe play it different, but 13BBs have to get it in IMO.
