Hey guys,

Just joined the site, shit is off the hook. Heard about it through the podcasts on itunes which are very awesome. I have been playing for almost 1.5 years and just the podcast alone had improved my game so I decided to give the site a try. I'm 22, from PA, and play on merge. I have a few questions for Marc Alioto about the DON's.

I play mostly the $10 & $20 Don's on merge, I do okay in them but have a few leaks I have started to pick up on. I recently watched your videos and like you I usually just ship my entire range preflop, and maybe just doing that is a better all around option however I'm finding when I'm down to 10bb and ship 77 from mp I'm either flipping or getting called by better. I believe that in 6max which I have never played would be much better but in 10max I'm shoving into the top of opponets ranges enough for it to make a ROI difference so I'm trying to change to just a 2.5 raise, but then I have idiots flatting my raises with gargabe and put myself it tough spots when I miss the flop. What do you perfer for 10 max and why?

Next question, how in 10 max would you play a small to middle pair under 88 if folded to you in early to middle possiton with a 10bbish stack while you have been shoving your entire range, I know table flow and bubble has alot to do with this and on the bubble I would open but I feel like I get caught up so much. Do you just fold small pocket pairs unless your in late possition?

Thank you very much in advance,  Good luck at the tables all.

I’ve looked in my HM2 displayed stats for the “defend BB” stat and I can’t find it. Can you tell me under which drop down I can find it.

I use PT4, but I have heard that HEM is similar in this respect. There isn't a unique stat called BB VPIP, but you can change the properties of the VPIP stat from all positions to only the BB. Check item properties after selecting VPIP and look for an option called position. Same goes with EP PFR which is another useful stat.

hey Marc,

can you explain all your HUD numbers, in your last serie, you started to explain the first line, but not the others. may be I missed it in following videos?

and how you translate these numbers into players behaviour? do you use every number?

thanks!
