Good question. I like betting, and if I’m getting pot size right, your sizing (40ish %) is good. This is a card that is MUCH better for your range than for Villain’s, so much so that he really doesn’t have much incentive to call a sizable bet with anything less than an A. And you want to be able to make thin bets like this one for value/protection, which is less desirable for a bigger size. You could probably even go a touch smaller than you did, but this is good. Obviously you fold to a raise and check most rivers.
FWIW I don’t agree that V *should* never-fold, though it’s plausible that he will. Easily dominated hands without much nut potential, like KTo, probably aren’t profitable calls for him despite the odds.

Foucault, I am confused by your comment. You write, “your sizing (40ish%) is good. …” But hero did not bet 40ish% on the turn. If I am reading this right, hero checked and villain bet 40ish% on the turn. Can you clarify?
Yes, villain made river 43% pot-sized bet.
I think Andrew is saying that hero should fire (on the turn) between 25-33%, aiming smaller (43% ish is still good size) to keep in only Ax type hands and then folding to raises. because of the fact that strong Aces (AJ,AQ,AK) should be in his sb 3-bet range. The sizing of the turn bet (if hero were the one to make the bet) would be perfect to keep in worse Aces if villain were floating the flop, and also to protect heros range. That’s the way I am understanding this.

Sorry I misread, thought Hero was IP. That makes it tougher. Pretty close I guess between betting small and check-calling. I wouldn’t check-fold, especially not to a bet of this size, as I think V can bet worse for value. River is going to be tricky. If I check-called turn, I’d probably check-fold. If I bet turn, I think you just have to evaluate based on the card and the best size. I don’t think it’s a clear fold.
